The Logistics Supervisor oversees daily logistics operations, including deliveries and shipments. The role requires skills in leadership, coordination, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor transportation and delivery activities.
- Monitor and control logistics costs, ensuring efficiency and budget compliance.
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics transactions and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations.
- Lead and manage logistics staff, including training and performance evaluation.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-4 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Extensive background in transportation, sourcing, and cost management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
