EASTBERG GM Echo Shield is an acoustic sound absorbing gypsum board with circular hole perforations and glass mat on paper back face. Designed for sound absorption, EASTBERG GM Echo Shield has a noise reduction coefficient (NRC) value of 0.65 to 0.80. EASTBERG GM Echo Shield ES-CP1 can achieve an NCR value of 0.80 while ES-CP8 with 13.4% perforation area can achieve an NCR value of 0.65 to 0.70.NRC is an average rating of how much sound an acoustic product can absorb. NRC 0 means no sound is absorbed, while 1 means all sounds are absorbed. With a perforation area that is 16.1% of the surface area, EASTBERG GM Echo Shield Board is suitable for audiovisual rooms, seminar rooms, restaurants, convention centers and other areas where sound quality is important. The 15mm diameter circular hole perforations of the Echo Shield adds a modern pattern that is ideal for various ceiling and wall designs.
