The Logistics Team Leader is responsible for coordination, scheduling, and monitoring of all delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily delivery schedules to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Supervise loading and unloading operations to ensure proper handling of products and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate dispatch activities and ensure all delivery requirements and documentation are complete before deployment.
- Develop and implement transport plans to optimize vehicle utilization, route efficiency, and delivery costs.
- Monitor fleet and transportation activities to ensure smooth operations and address issues promptly.
- Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
- Prepare and submit logistics reports, delivery performance records, and other operational documentation.
- Handle and resolve delivery, transportation, and logistics-related concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements and Skills:
- Graduate of any four-year Bachelor’s Degree course, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- At least three (3) years of experience in logistics operations, with at least two (2) years in a team leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, dispatch, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and logistics best practices is an advantage.
