The Facilities and Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for supervising team members in assessing and completing tasks related to facilities and equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise team members, ensuring the quality and completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with the FMM Supervisor to prioritize work, secure supplies, and assess required skills.
- Evaluate systems and equipment to identify necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Resolve operational issues and report deviations to the FMM Supervisor.
- Participate in operational meetings and collaborate with the FMM leadership on improvements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Implement and review safety protocols, addressing incidents with the FMM Supervisor.
- Ensure timely completion of job orders through cross-department collaboration.
- Manage record-keeping, reporting, and communicate KPIs to the team.
- Assist with performance evaluations and provide input on team performance.
- Support training for new team members and address minor discipline issues.
- Ensure full adherence to 5S practices.
Requirements and Skills:
- Graduate of BS in Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Electrical) or related vocational certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facility and machine maintenance, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, or willingness to undergo management training.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of building systems and machinery.
