Gardflex Ceiling Boards are fiber cement boards suitable for interior and exterior ceilings. Thanks to the autoclave curing process, Gardflex is protected from the typical expansion and contraction caused by heat and humidity—thus avoiding cracks, warping, and joint failure. Gardflex ceiling boards are resistant to moisture, fire, insect and rot, and are asbestos-free. They have a very smooth and white surface, and their lightweight strength and added flexibility make them easier to handle, cut, and install.

GARDFLEX Ceiling Boards come in 4ft x 8ft (1220mm x 2440mm) sizes with thicknesses from 3.5mm to 6mm. Ceiling Boards come uncolored with a smooth surface.

Gardflex boards can be installed on galvanized frames or treated wood frames.

For galvanized framing, use a ceiling system with 0.4mm thick double furring spaced at 0.4m and 0.8mm thick carrying channel spaced at 0.9m.

For timber frames, use 2x2 treated wood spaced at 0.6m x 0.6m.

Use fiber cement screws for all installations. On board edges, space screws every 200mm, keeping each screw at least 12mm from the edge.

For the center of the board, screws should be spaced at 300mm intervals.

At every board corner, place two screws positioned 50mm away from both adjacent edges.
